SamiArt has been coordinating the Sutton Community Art Space since it began in January 2010. The space is available to use by local groups & artists for art exhibitions & workshops to Complementary Health Free Taster Sessions - my aim is to offer the community something that is good for the heart, the mind, the body and soul. Penny will be exhibiting her artwork and there will be an interesting collaborative workshop with cartooning on silk as we join experimental forces to create smiley cartoon faces on silk :-).

NFSH will be offering FREE healing sessions. Healing....is completely natural.promotes better health and well-being.re-energises and relaxes.supports you in using your own natural resources to deal with illness, disease and hurt.helps with a wide range of physical, psychological, spiritual and emotional conditions.is non-invasive, with no harmful side effects.is recognised as a therapy by the NHS 
we are at the Art Space from the 22nd of June until the 21st of July
we are expecting to have at least one or two healers at the shop every day from around 11am until around 2pm
All our healers are qualified and insured & we adhere to a strict code of conduct 
Our work is on a voluntary basis, but we do accept donations to keep our Sutton Healing Centre open.
The Sutton Healing Centre is open every Tuesday between 2 and 4 pm, we are in Cedar Road in the Friends Meeting HouseDuring August our Centre in Sutton is closed. We start back on the 6th of September 2011

SCOLA
Sutton College of Learning for Adults (SCOLA) will be using the ArtSpace in September to showcase student work and inspire adult learning. With hundreds of courses on offer, SCOLA are the main provider of part time day and evening classes in the London Borough of Sutton, with centres in Sutton, Wallington, North Cheam and various schools in the local area. The well established arts and craft department has won awards for student work and continues to be one of the most popular areas of study, providing courses for all abilities in a huge range of subjects. Cheam Woodturners Association
will be exhibiting at the Community Art Space for the month of July.
There is a good selection of beautifully carved woodwork on display which you can view during the Exhibition opening times
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday between 11:00am and 2:00pm.
The object of the exhibition is to raise the profile of woodturning amongst the general public & attract new members.
Cheam Woodturners Association was formed in 1997 and meets every third Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm in the Elmcroft Centre, North Cheam. The club provides a warm welcome to anyone interested in the art of turning and encourages every member to improve their skills. They have regular "hands on" sessions as well as demonstrations by professional woodturners. Artists Neal and Helena Vaughan and Abel Kesteven will turn Sutton's Community Art Space into an Artists Studio for the entire month of April.  During the month the artists will create and exhibit work, inspired by Sutton and the surrounding area.  The work will even include pieces made on location in Sutton's famous shopping areas and surrounding parks and streets.
The artists hope to demonstrate their everyday art practice, highlight the diverse arts events that happen in the Sutton area and encourage the public to get involved.
