WAITING - an original SamiArtStyle mandala doodle artwork created by hand - doodling is like a meditation for me and this flowed as part of a series of 6 hand-painted original wooden clocks back in 2017. 
 
I've played around with the original to create this Waiting Playfully pattern (inspired by a favourite old pair of leggings that finally gave up after 15 years of wear!)

It's a timeless design, and I'm so excited to see my Producer/DJ husband, Paolo Tossio, use this as the cover artwork for his 'euphoric trance breaks' single, WAITING, out now, and featuring my vocal...

Paolo performed ‘WAITING’ to a huge crowd at #WOMAD 2022 when he showcased his new album ‘CONNECTION’, I was one of his dancers ;)

Paolo wrote the original about the pandemic, the lockdown, and how so many were suffering and waiting for the moment of freedom - ‘I can’t wait, I might just break.’

The song is about remembering that life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, however frustrating it can be, it’s about learning how to dance under the rain.
